OPCF19A Agreed Value of Automobile Insurance Coverage

In order to protect your investment, an OPCF19A  Agreed Value endorsement is a must-have on your policy. Should your vehicle be stolen or written off in an accident, this endorsement ensures you will receive an"agreed value" settlement. Without an OPCF19A, you will only receive the "Actual Cash Value", which is your car's value at the time of the loss including depreciation (the difference can be thousands of dollars).

Coverage with an Appraisal

If you have an existing appraisal (up to 5 years old on vehicles less than $50,000 in value / up to 3 years old if  over $50,000 in value) or you plan on obtaining one, your vehicle is insured for the appraised amount (including tax) and an OPCF19A is added to your policy. Annual premiums can be much lower when you have an appraisal (see sample prices below).

If you need a car appraisal, contact Bruno DiMartino @ BDM Classic & Collector Car Appraisal Services, by clicking on his business card below.

No Appraisal, No Problem

If you don't have an appraisal, your vehicle can still be insured on a collector car policy. Photos are submitted to the company and you both agree on the coverage amount. An OPCF19A is added to your policy.

Often, we will provide two quotes - one with an appraisal and one without -  you can then decide if the cost of an appraisal warrants the savings over 5 years.

MODERN CLASSICS AND MUSCLE CARS

We now insure newer classics with limited-use, that are collectible in nature and have lower production numbers. Examples include sports cars, muscle cars and special edition models. Let us know what you own and we'll see if it qualifies.

Annual rates are often lower than a regular automobile insurance policy AND an OPCF19A is added to your policy - with or without an appraisal.

Please note we don't insure dune buggies, kit cars, replicas pro-street or vehicles designed for racing. You must have a separate insurance policy already in place for your everyday vehicle. The minimum age for drivers on a Stock vehicle is 23 years of age, and on a modified vehicle, 25 years of age.You must have a good driving record to qualify for any of the programs.
